Volunteer Application
Trains are a passion. This passion was critical in the development of our country and serves an important role going forward. The mission of The Depot  is to nurture this passion with outreach, education and direct involvement. Direct involvement will help you:

•  Learn more about rail and rail safety
• Spread joy and history to kids
• Build muscle and knowledge while working on track,
  equipment and buildings
• Enjoy like minded comrades
• Be honored for your service hours
• Receive discounts and priority for rail events

 We have many opportunities, including: maintaining real trains car, running our 7.5 gauge train, providing history lessons, staffing the gift shop, managing the museums, managing other volunteers and more...

You'll have fun. We appreciate your commitment!

Volunteer Activities:
   Operations (7.5 gauge train)
   Administrative (Ticket/souvenir/snack sales, database, mailings, etc.)
   Grounds and Parking
   Building Maintenance
   Track Maintenance
   Equipment Maintenance
   Special Events (Plan, manage, staff)
   Whatever assistance is needed
Note: All activities require a quick general safety training
